16th Lagos Book and Art Festival
Are you a Book Lover or a Lover of Art?
The 2014 Lagos Art and Book Festival is in Honour of Prof. Wole Soyinka at 80.
The festival was established in 1999.
Theme: FREEDOM & THE WORD
(Inspired by the 25th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, 20th Anniversary of the South African Democracy and 15th Anniversary of Nigeria's 4th Republic, this festival largely interrogates how the published text has interrogated the
notion of human freedom)
It starts on the 14th - 16th of November at Freedom Park, Broad Street, Lagos.You should be looking forward to fun and thrills, with live bands and Theater Performances, Galleries displaying Art, and a series of art, craft, textile, dancing workshops focused on kids in the open field.
